“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (New Living Translation).

In regards of the new life Jesus offers, He expects it to actually be totally new; and not a mix between the past and the new. The key to having a life totally new is to believe with all your heart that it’s about Jesus, not about you. When the life of Jesus is given to new believers trough faith, they are also given the power to be like Jesus. Not by human strength but by the resurrection power of Jesus.

When a believer gets that it’s not about himself but about Jesus, his soul and body find rest; For it will be revealed to him that righteousness is a gift that has to be accepted; not earned through works (Romans 5:17). Also when one understand that is GOD the One that sustains all of our works we stop doing too much in the flesh and find rest in the Spirit.

When a believer focus his sight in what it can be accomplished by himself the supernatural of GOD gets missed. When we look too much at our sins/mistakes we may forget about the sufficient grace and forgiveness that Jesus offers freely. When focusing in oneself the believer may miss out the power that Jesus released at the Cross (wholeness, health, righteousness and prosperity); for he will stop looking at Jesus like his Savior and will try to save himself out of every situation.

When the believer understands that he is already righteous and pure before God only because of what Jesus did, he finds spiritual rest (Ephesians 1:3-5); For he will confess his sins to God only to grow in resemblance to Jesus. and not to better his righteousness before God.

Find more rest for your soul and body. Once and for all understand that it’s not about you, but about Jesus.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 New Living Translation (NLT)

If somebody had told me what the LORD was going to do trough me when I got saved, I just would not have believed it. I was not what you would consider good material or at that time “usable”. In my conversion I was not sure if I would ever have a normal life, this for consequences of my previous life. The LORD entered fully in my life and gave me the promise of restoring my life and being His witness (Isaiah 43 and 42). I followed Him and that gave me life. By being in God´s presence for a few years my being was restored. The sin, fear, depression and anxiety were cast out by the Holy Spirit and replaced with peace and joy. There were difficult moments when I was frustrated for not having what the LORD had promised, and I was tempted to give up, but I asked Jesus His strength and I kept on fighting. In that process the LORD gave me a lot of gifts. Being the most valuable of them eternal life. The LORD gave me talents to minister His people; He uses me to write devotionals in several webs in Latin American, to design Christian logos/avatars , to do videos, to preach, to minister in English and recently to write a book. This was simply impossible for me when I began walking with the LORD, but not to Him.

What is it that the LORD wants to do trough you? If you are having a tough time hanging on to God´s promises to your life, I want to tell you this: what you want with all your heart is already yours; you only have to believe it and move forward. The LORD is with you and He will not let you go.

No matter how hard it seems to believe it, God is making a master piece out of you. The harder is your trial the greater will be the triumph.

Believe with all your heart that Jesus will transform you into a master peace; and be prepared to what He will do by your hands.
